Classes & Lessons
Beginner Program
Our beginner program introduces students not just to technical skills, but tactical and strategic ideas from the very first day.
The beginner program is conducted in two phases: Beginner, and Novice. Beginners learn our safety driven culture and the fundamental principles of the game of Fencing itself. Once Beginners graduate to Novices, they apply what they have learned controlled sparing sessions with steel equipment, while refining the technical skills needed to turn theory into practice.
Competitive Group Classes
The competitive group classes pick up where the Beginner and Novice sessions leave off. Classes are lead by experienced instructors who teach realistic and practical skills necessary for competitors to navigate the crucible of competition. An insistence on technical excellence combined with tailored approaches to real world situations ensures that our Fencers are ready for whatever they encounter.
Classes are separated by age categories, each with a unique, but overlapping, approach to ensure pedagogical consistency during a student’s education
Private Lessons
Private individual lessons are the cement that anchors the work of our group training. Fencers receive personalized instruction to address their needs and to augment what is taught during group classes.
Students become eligible to enroll in private lessons when they have graduated from our Novice program or have demonstrated prior experience.
